This state-of-the-art element mix aligns the micronutrient consumption of tropical corals with the light conditions generated by LED lighting systems. It helps maintain stable conditions in the micronutrient budget of coral reef aquariums, leading to significant increases in coral growth rates and coloration. The special formulation of the elements also prevents the accumulation of excess toxic trace metals in the aquarium and effectively prevents the growth of unwanted algae.

Pro Tips:
- Start at the low end of the dose range - The recommended dose is 2-3 ml per 100 liters per week. Start at 2 ml and hold for three to four weeks before increasing. Color development from trace element supplementation is gradual. Pushing the dose up faster will not speed up pigmentation and can throw off your water chemistry.
- Test before you dose - This product contains heavy metals including copper and chromium. If your tank already has elevated copper from other supplements, treatments, or your salt mix, adding Color Elements Blue Purple Complex on top may push those values into a harmful range. Run an ICP analysis first so you have a baseline.
- Use alongside the other Color Elements products for full spectrum control - Color Elements Blue Purple Complex targets the blue color axis. Fauna Marin's Green Blue Complex covers green and turquoise, and the Red Orange Complex handles red and orange. Running all three lets you adjust each color range independently rather than relying on a single all-in-one trace supplement to balance the mix for you.
- Keep the bottle sealed and the cap clean - This is a concentrated formula. Contaminating the bottle with organics or bacteria from a dirty pipette can degrade the product before the expiration date. Use a clean, dedicated dosing syringe and reseal after each use.
